Level 10 uses two Faceling behaviors that should not be mixed: turn back to push off the Stalker, then use roads, fences, and windmills as escape landmarks when the Farmer’s chainsaw starts.

Part 1: The Graphics Trick (Maximize Visibility)

The tall corn in Level 10 makes it nearly impossible to spot entities early. However, there is a technical workaround:

GRAPHICS OPTIMIZATION: Go to settings and set "Visual Quality" to Low. This prevents the grass from rendering in the distance, giving you a clear view of the entire map and any lurking monsters.

Part 2: The "Faceless Bell" (Wu Mian Ling)

You will encounter two variations of the Faceless Bell in this level:

  • The Grabber: It sneaks up silently and picks you up to drag you into the corn. Never stop moving!
  • The Chainsaw Variant: Much more aggressive and often guards direct paths. If you hear the chainsaw, maintain your distance.

Part 3: Navigating the Windmills

Navigation is handled by the large windmills on the horizon:

  • Look for the Red Light in the sky. Once you reach and interact with that windmill, the next target will turn Green.
  • Use Energy Drinks (Metasequoia Acid) to cover the long distances between fields more quickly.

Part 4: The "Pro Move" – Fence-Skip Glitch

If you want to avoid the cornfields and combat entirely, use the bug shown at (04:20):

  1. Go to the edge of the road where the black wooden fences are located.
  2. Position yourself at a corner, look at the top railing, and press A + Jump simultaneously.
  3. If done correctly, you will get "stuck" on top of the thin railing.
  4. You can now walk along the fence line directly toward the large "ARCADE" sign without ever touching the ground where monsters spawn.

Part 5: Level 3999 (The Arcade)

At the end of the road, you will find a brightly lit building—The Arcade.

  • The Revolving Door: This is the transition to Level 3999.
  • Multiplayer Note: If your teammates cannot enter, it is usually because the Host is too far away from the door. The Host must be physically close to the door for the trigger to work for everyone.

Once inside Level 3999, you have reached a safe checkpoint before the next set of challenges begins.

Player route notes
Things we check before pushing ahead

We use this as the quick “don’t make the same mistake twice” checklist. If your room, spawn, or prompt does not match the video, stop and check the normal route first—patches and co-op timing can make an old shortcut look tempting when it simply will not work.

Check 01
Improve visibility in the Fields

Make sure this is actually the step you are on. If an item or prompt is missing, backtrack one room and check the inventory first.

Check 02
Keep moving through the wheat

Look around slowly before guessing. Props can hide chairs, switches, notes, and pickups; a second camera angle is usually faster than brute force.

Check 03
Follow the left-right-left route

Call out what was pressed, collected, or opened. It prevents the classic “we all thought somebody did it” reset.

Check 04
Optional fence-jump shortcut

If a skip behaves inconsistently, leave it and take the intended route. A clean run beats getting stuck in geometry.

Multiplayer tips

In the Fields, call each turbine as it is activated and keep one player watching the route through the wheat. Do not send everyone after a shortcut while part of the group still needs the normal objective.

Faceling

How it appears here

Level 10 uses a Stalker Faceling on the early road and a chainsaw-carrying Farmer Faceling around the windmill work, so the same field asks for two different habits.

How to avoid it

Turn back regularly to dismiss the Stalker; when the Farmer starts up, leave by a known road or windmill landmark instead of sprinting deeper into the wheat.
